Employer Overview

Australia Chef Migration was borne from a hospitality experienced mind set and fully understands the difficulties in recruiting and retaining chef talent. Our chefs come from all kinds of backgrounds and experiences, from fine dining, local and international hotel brands to cruise ships. Whatever your need, we are likely to have a chef to meet your needs – including a specialist pastry chef!

As an employer, you can be assured that we carry out a rigorous application, screening and assessment process for all of our candidates. We provide honest feedback to them at all stages of the program and only work with those candidates who have shown their commitment and ability, not only in terms of their technical skills but also in terms of their communication skills and ability to meet set time frames and deadlines.

Employer Eligibility

All of our program candidates require an employer sponsored work visa. To be eligible to hire one of our candidates you must therefore be registered with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) as a Standard Business Sponsor.

If your business is not yet registered, we can help connect you with a registered immigration agent who will review your eligibility and assist you through the registration process.

Employer Support

Australia Chef Migration are here every step of the way to assist employers, from setting up the visa application process all the way through to supporting them with the induction of their new team member. The success of our candidates in the initial transition period is fully supported by our team to ensure they feel at home and settle into the workplace and are working to the standards of the business within short period of arrival.

Employer Timelines

Our program allows us to have a chef in your kitchen within 3 weeks of the visa approval.

Maybe you would rather have a chef ‘on demand’? You can opt to start the visa sponsorship process immediately and have them on hold for up to 3 months after their visa approval, creating a ready-made solution to an expected peak time of business or as a replacement to that unexpected resignation!
