English Competency

Overall band score of at least 5.0 with a score of at least 5 in each of the test components.

BOOK IELTS

Academic overall test score of at least 36 with a score of at least 36 in each of the test components

BOOK PTE

ACM does not have any preference for the certification. You may choose whichever suits you the best.

It is expected that you will have the test date booked within 7 days from receipt of the program agreement and therefore please action this with the click-through links in the table below.

Cost

Depends on which test you take, for example, IELTS test will cost you $300.

Police Check

Chef visa costs A$3,115

The Registered Migration Agent fees are $3,300 including GST will be paid by ACM and the candidate will repay as part of salary reduction once starting work in Australia. 

TRA Skills Assessment fees per stage

$990 Service Fee to Trade Recognition Australia for document credentialing

Stage 1 – $1120 to Trades Recognition Australia to validate documentary evidence

Stage 2 –  $2000 to Trades Recognition for the Technical Interview.

Total TRA Skills Assessment is $4110

The total cost prior to coming to Australia;

  • IELTS/PTE                       – $300

      • Total – $7525

 

Skills Assessment

Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) Skills Assessment is a requirement to apply for a Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) visa in Australia to work in a nominated occupation.

  • Upon receipt of Program Agreement and refundable program deposit, ACM will introduce you by email to registered training organisation.

  • Candidates send Letters of employment, payslips, workplace menus, education qualifications to company for no FEE Pre Assessment and eligibility check based on your documents provided.

  • The company will confirm your documents and invite you to formally undertake registration online and pay deposit for TRA.

  • Formal Technical interview will be arranged in person in your current location.

Process is approximately 16 weeks to complete
