Australia Chef Migration was borne from a hospitality experienced mind set and fully understand the difficulties in recruiting and retaining chef talent. Our chefs come from all kinds of backgrounds and experiences, from fine dining, local and international hotel brands and from cruise ships.
As an employer, you can be assured that we carry out a rigorous application, screening and assessment process for 100% of our candidates. We provide honest feedback to them at all stages of the program and only work with those candidates who have shown their commitment and ability, not only in terms of their technical skills and cooking ability but also in terms of their communication skills and ability to meet set time frames and deadlines.

Australia Chef Migration are here every step of the way to assist employers with setting up the visa application process through to supporting them in the transition of the arrival of their new team member.
The success of our candidates in the initial transition period from arrival is fully supported by our team to ensure the induction and training ensures the new chefs feel at home and settle into the workplace and are working to the standards of the business within a short period of their arrival.
Frequently Asked Questions
All of our program candidates require an employer sponsored work visa and thus, to be eligible to hire one of our candidates you must be registered with the Department of Home Affairs as a Standard Business Sponsor.
If your business is not yet registered, we can connect you with our partner registered Migration Agents who can review your eligibility and set this up within 4 weeks.
From job order received, we aim to have a chef in your kitchen from 6 to 10 weeks (subject to Department of Home Affairs visa processing).
